If you can afford the time for a Full Day Guided Tour then you should. This tour Includes guide, equipment, instruction and a freshly cooked lunch on the beach of fish cakes, home made baked beans, homemade bread and tea.
If you can afford the time for a Full Day Guided Tour then you should. This is an awesome way to see Cape Breton Island’s coast as you glide in your kayak exploring a small cave, 2 eagles nests (usually which are occupied), a converted lighthouse, 2 beaches and a waterfall. We stop and prepare lunch around noon on the beach where you can go beach combing or take the 2 minute hike to the waterfall where you can refresh yourself under the waterfall. Our lunches are home made and very healthy and yummy. You will not leave with the beach with an empty belly. If the weather cooperates we do a crossing to the lighthouse where we stop on the Munroe Point’s sandy beach and pause to reflect on our day. We then paddle from Munroe Point back to our base in North River Bridge where we say our goodies and bid you a safe journey. This is a magical and rewarding paddle!
